Play About A Vietnam War Movie

A few side stories to this dream. First, I was driving towards my street (in my old neighborhood in Illinois) and began to make out with my friend, Bre.

Next, I saw scenes from a Vietnam War movie- some highly praised on, like Apocalypse Now. I was to see this movie in the form of a play. It started off nothing like the movie did. Movie began with a narration much like Martin Sheen did for Apocalypse Now. Play began with the narration being communicated through this urban-looking kid making a phone call in a booth. It totally sucked. I left the play to look for my car. I was among family and coworkers alike, but back in Prospect Park, in Moline. I walked up the long drive and around the streets in that neighborhood that wrap around those huge Oak Trees, looking for my car. Except, the streets were longer than I had remembered them and by the time I found my car all I wanted to do was pack my suitcase and go home- could not find my overnight bag and began to search harder for it. As time went by, I wasn't looking for my car/overnight bag anymore but was looking at cups of coffee, wondering which one was mine.
