Down River
I found myself walking/hiking down into a ravine. I came across a small river and decided to use a long piece of wood (that generally resembled a surf board) to paddle my way down stream. On my belly, I paddled with my hands and the river became wider and held standard traffic as an interstate would. The feeling was exhilarating and still- had the scenery that went with a river journey. I passed a semi. Around that time, a Native American woman wanted to talk with me at a the next rest area. She gave me a piece of paper where she had drawn a design and gave it to me. I went to get it tattooed on me at the rest stop. The artist seemed to take forever to "give me an estimate". By then, my wife and friends were with me, anticipating the tattoo.
