Water Wedding

Took a long walk on a concrete path to an Olympic-size swimming pool. We were there for a wedding. I think my dad was near me as we looked out to the pool, as guests. The groom came out and tread water for several minutes while he tried to make a speech about the bride and the wedding to begin the ceremony. He didn't get far into it and everyone thought he must be nervous. The groom asked everyone to remain there while he went to look for his notes. While this was happening, I decided to swim but had discovered that if I rotated my arms very quickly, I could hover above the water like a helicopter. People were impressed but generally being kind of reserved about it. Then, suddenly, I decided to go for a run and exited the pathed area. This eventually became a tree-covered street that is parallel to the street I grew up on. I felt fantastic and must have been running 30 miles per hour.

Protecting the Baby

My wife and I had a baby and I was in the basement of the house I grew up in. The basement was moist and cluttered and there was no suitable place to put the baby. I was becoming extremely irritable and anxious over this as more and more people, including some family members, fawned over the newborn. My cat was in the basement too- I noticed that he had jumped an enormous vertical length into the air and wound up at least 20 feet up into a crawlspace. Of course, this basement doesn't have such high ceilings and there is no crawlspace there. In the dream, however, I recognized the crawlspace and was worried that my cat would somehow get outside or otherwise get into something that would hurt him. I got up there, got him out and looked around. Extremely curious now but only saw a dusty badminton set. At some point, I wound up outside and saw clouds so fierce looking that they were literally blowing past ground level windows. Suddenly, I spotted a funnel cloud and it appears to be touching the ground right over the house. I warned people of this but no one took heed- instead, they pointed to the blue skies beyond the table of clouds.
